Koperattiva Produtturi tal-Ħalib Group Ltd. (KPH Group) is a cooperative whose members are Maltese and Gozitan herdsmen that rear cattle on their farms primarily for milk production. Established in 1958, the Cooperative is committed to the development and sustainability of the Maltese milk sector across the whole milk chain from stable to table. The members forming KPH Group, operate their own dairy farms on which all local cows’ milk is produced daily. KPH Group is a leader in several activities including the importation of grains in Malta used to produce animal feeds. Various types of balanced feeds for different animal sectors are manufactured at its own plant – KPH Feedmill. Through one of its divisions, Agritech Services, KPH Group also provides agricultural support services, farm supplies, educational programmes and technical support to its members on various areas including farm management, animal health, fertility and nutrition. KPH Group is also the majority shareholder in Malta Dairy Products Ltd, which processes, packs, and distributes a variety of milk products to the local market, ranging from fresh milk to cheeses and butter, under the Benna brand name. The Cooperative owns another subsidiary company – Malta Beef Products Ltd – whose main objective is to assist KPH members in selling their beef at the best possible price.
